Although glaucoma is commonly
associated with aging, one out of every 10,000 children born in the
United States (and a much higher number elsewhere) have congenital
glaucoma. To address this problem, the Glaucoma Research Foundation
has made available a "Childhood Glaucoma Information Kit" -- an
informative and practical 36-page booklet by the Foundation and the
National Association for Parents of the Visually Impaired. Also
included is a brochure, newsletter, and related information.
