Vision World Wide is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the vision impaired. This work is accomplished directly through interaction with the vision impaired and indirectly through interaction with the caregiving community.
Vision World Wide was founded in 1995 by Patricia Price, herself visually impaired. Pat has worked in the field for over 30 years, and is widely recognized as an authority. The depth of information for Vision Enhancement comes from Pat's working relationships with leading individuals and facilities in the medical community as well as providers of technology.
Vision World Wide provides medical information and emotional encouragement to the vision impaired and their families, serves as a communication link between the vision impaired and their caregiving community, serves as a consumer protection organization against unscrupulous predators who victimize, plunder, or otherwise prey upon unsuspecting and uninformed victims of vision loss, and aims to enlighten the general public about issues, trends and treatments related to vision loss.
Vision World Wide, Inc. has a 13-Member Board of Directors - all volunteers. We have no paid staff. Our Board Chairman is William Corbin and Pat (Patricia) Price serves as President and Managing Editor.
